How Will You Use Your Freedom?

How are we supposed to use our freedom in Christ?

To serve others, not ourselves.

America is a great case study in freedom.

When we use freedom to serve ourselves, we end up devouring each other.
When we use freedom to serve others, we give live and freedom.

Paul told us 2,000 years ago what responsibility we have to live in freedom.

Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina is an extreme example of using freedom to serve others. A gunman came into their church and killed 9 of their people.

The church decided to use their freedom in Christ to forgive the one who killed their friends & family.

Life and freedom were given that day.

They could have stood up and yelled. Riots have started over less. We could still be watching the effects of using freedom to serve ourselves.

Your day probably won’t be nearly as intense, graphic or tragic as that day in Charleston.

But your response to others is no less real.

How will you use your freedom…

To say what you’d really like to say?
To post what you’d really like to post?
To do what you’d really like to do?

Use your freedom in Christ (and America) to give life & freedom to others.
